Make your dramatic entrance from the bridal suite on the second floor of the clubhouse, descending via a striking wrought-iron-and-stone staircase. You can start your reception in the bright and roomy, Saltillo-tiled foyer with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, before retreating to one of our elegantly-appointed reception halls.

Our wedding reception facilities include The Avalon Ballroom, which overlooks the golf course and features high ceilings, chandeliers, and windows that provide exceptional views of the treelined fairways and blossoming flowers. The vintage-influenced Hacienda Room is an excellent choice for groups of up to 85 guests, and our Fireside Room, which features vaulted ceilings and a cozy, inlaid-brick fireplace, accommodates up to 60 guests, making it a great choice for intimate weddings.If you want well-priced Southern California wedding venues without sacrificing the quality you

Event Spaces & Ceremony Sites

The Avalon Ballroom

Looking to host a large reception? The Avalon Ballroom is the largest and most luxurious space offered at Lakewood Country Club. The Avalon Ballroom includes a lovely tiled foyer lit by brass chandeliers, and the main room features tall windows and a dance floor that fronts a main stage perfect for a live band. The Club employs a private event staff available to help you plan every aspect of your reception—we want to make sure you enjoy your special day to the fullest!

The Hacienda Room

Looking for a more modest event space? Consider booking the Hacienda Room, which features plenty of light, an exposed-beam ceiling, and views of our beautiful Wedding Garden. The Hacienda Room can accommodate roughly 85 guests.

The Fireside Room

Perfect for more intimate affairs, the Fireside Room is extremely cozy and features a decorative, brick-lined fireplace covered with flickering candles for a romantic ambiance. The room can accommodate roughly 60 guests, and its classic Mediterranean design—complete with tiles and an angular-shaped roof—harkens back to Spanish California, making this space perfect for any couple looking for a vintage-style wedding.

The Dining Room

Dine on classic American cuisine at the Catalina Grill. Operated by Executive Chef Paulo Park, the food at the Catalina Grill is absolutely top notch. Afterwards, you can pop in to the Catalina Lounge to relax with friends.

The Clubhouse

After a round of golf, head over to the Clubhouse for some cocktails with friends or family.

Garden Ceremony

Our specially-designed lawn is the perfect space for any ceremony. Many of our couples choose this space due to the stunning staircase that leads the wedding party from the second story suite to the idilic garden beneath. The open space can seat up to 300 guests, and is easily customizable to fit the couples’ vision.

First Tee Box Ceremony

Lakewood Country Club’s first tee is our most popular space for ceremonies due to its panoramic views of our rolling fairways and Lake Bouton. It has an intimate vibe, but can also fit up to 300 guests, making it the best of both worlds for a wedding!
