(505) 822-0422, ext. 236Sunee Golder comes to Tanoan Country Club with over 15 years of sales experience. She has been with the club since 2010, when she was awarded "Rookie of the Year." In 2011, she was honored with the MVP accolade, and was promoted from Tournament Sales Manager to Private Event Director/Tournament Sales Director. She stepped away from Tanoan in the summer of 2014 to start a family. After being a stay-at-home mom for almost 2 years, her passion to work with people drew her back to Tanoan. Not only does she love the staff she is surrounded by, she enjoys helping each and every client fulfill the smallest details of their events. When Sunee is not working, she loves reading, surfing, hiking, and spending time with her family.Fun Facts -
Cathy LehnerEvent Sales Manager
(505) 822-0422Cathy has been in the Sales and Customer Service industry for over 20 years. A native of New Mexico, she has worked in both Health Club and Hospitality businesses and finds the Country Club to be a beautiful "marriage" of her past experience. In addition to spending time with her husband and their rescue dogs, she sits on the Board of Directors of an animal advocacy group and likes to volunteer with and donate to other animal welfare groups.Fun Facts
Event Spaces & Ceremony Sites
An intimate and picturesque space, our private dining room is ideal for small weddings and birthday parties. The space can accommodate up to 70 guests and features a Spanish-style adobe fireplace, a sweeping private bar, floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on the fairways and nearby mountains.
The Sandia Patio offers spectacular views of both the Sandia Mountains and the nearby city, and it features natural decorative accents, such as climbing vines and colorful, native flowers. It’s no wonder why this venue is our most popular for both cocktail mixers and outdoor wedding ceremonies.
Perched on the top of the Clubhouse, the Main Ballroom boasts incredible, 360-degree panoramic views of the golf course as well as the local mountains. It features beautiful furnishings, a built-in parquet dance floor, a house sound system, adjustable lighting, and an adjacent outdoor deck. The space, which works wonderfully as both an indoor and outdoor venue, is ideal for both wedding receptions and other large-scale events. It can accommodate up to 250 guests.
