Custom Spouse Gifts

The Big Day has finally arrived, and you’re all jitters and excitement. It can be easy to feel caught up in getting ready, in the event planning, and in ensuring that everything goes right. But it’s important that you take a moment to recognize the significance of the day, and of the love it represents. A great way to give a moment of warmth and romance to your partner is a surprise gift. This longstanding tradition takes many forms, be it love letters, physical gifts, or surprise moments.
Remember, if you already hit your wedding budget, you can always do a DIY project as a gift. In the midst of all the expense of a wedding, taking time to give a heartfelt token of your love to your partner will be so special no matter the price tag.
To select a gift, spend some time thinking about what your fiancé likes and what they might enjoy most in the moments leading up to your wedding.
To help you brainstorm, here are some ideas for gifts you can give your honey – and ideas for what your honey can give to you – in case you need to drop some hints.
For Him
- Customized cufflinks with your initials & wedding date
- The watch he’s always admired and wanted
- Engraved pocket knife
- Embroidered socks for his “cold feet”
- A patch with a stitched message added to the inside of his tie
- Kegerator
- “Little black book” filled with boudoir photographs of you, for his eyes only
For Her
- Jewelry that she can wear after the wedding (she will probably have all of her wedding jewelry picked out and coordinated already)
- Spa morning with the girls
- Write a love note on the bottom of her shoes in sharpie (as long as you know for certain she won’t mind)
- Silk robe with “Mrs.” embroidered on the back
- Anything with Mrs. on it – you’ll still be a Mr., but the Mrs. is a big change for her and she might want to show it off! Think mugs, necklaces, and home décor
- Keepsake box that she can put all of the wedding memorabilia in after the day is done
For Either
- Customized handkerchief with your wedding date and initials
- Certificate for a couple’s massage during your honeymoon
- Family heirloom – grandma’s or grandpa’s jewelry, etc.
- Engraved glasses – coffee mugs, beer mugs, champagne, wine, etc.
