Real Wedding – Barbie & Frankie
11 Jan, 2018
Where did you meet?
Well lucky for me, I didn’t have to look far. Frankie , was my next door neighbor. He moved from Philadelphia to Long Beach, Ca.
How did he propose?
He surprised me with a weekend get away to La Jolla, CA. Never the less it was a weekend I would never forget. We strolled upon a cliff over looking the ocean, there were balloons that read “Marry Me”. Little did I know, Frankie invited my friends and family as well. They watched the proposal from a distanced and cheered when he got down on one knee. I couldn't have dreamt of a better proposal.
What was the deciding factor of having your Wedding at Los Coyotes Country Club?
Frankie and I had two different visions. He wanted more of a California beach theme and I wanted a more rustic wedding. Los Coyotes was able to offer us both. We had the beautiful lakeside ceremony between the palm tress and the reception in the ballroom where we transformed it to the rustic theme I envisioned. The grounds has so many options to capture both themes we wanted.
What were the highlights of the Ceremony?
Because there are so many it’s hard to narrow it down to a few. One of my personal highlights was driving up in my uncle’s 1960 red Chevy Corvette Roadster. Because we had a lakeside ceremony (that was outdoors) it worked out perfect. What were the highlights of the Reception? Hearing the Maid of Honor and Best Man speeches. Also being able to dance and enjoy our night with our friends and family was what we wanted.
