We wanted to share and say thank you again to a special newlywed couple, Mikela and Aaron, who celebrated their wedding this March at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club.

Mikela and Aaron were awarded wedding day assistance through Wish Upon a Wedding, “the world’s first nonprofit wish-granting organization” that provides “wedding and vow renewals for couples facing terminal illness and serious life-changing circumstances.”

This month, Mikela reached back out to us regarding her experience at Lomas Santa Fe, and we wanted to share her sentiments with you, and again wish her and Aaron all the future happiness in the world!

“Lomas Santa Fe went above and beyond our expectations, and donated their venue to me and my now husband on our wedding day. I was undergoing chemo and radiation when I was granted a beautiful wedding from Wish Upon a Wedding. Lomas volunteered its venue in order to help grant our fairytale wedding. It was more than what we ever expected! We got married on the first day of spring, and the weather was perfect! From the beautiful green grass and gorgeous waterfall to the spectacular view and delicious food – this place is a 5-star venue, and I would recommend it to anyone!

The area, of course, is very nice and the venue itself just had a renovation at the beginning of March 2015. My husband and I were the first to have our wedding in the new place! The staff were all so pleasant and made our day run as smoothly as possible. Lomas Santa Fe really takes pride in the cleanliness and customer service it provides at the venue!”
