How did you meet?

We are college sweethearts (Cal State Fullerton) and met while working a soccer camp in Orange County called “Soccer for Hope”.

How did he propose? 

We took a vacation to Montego Bay, Jamaica and Amani proposed at the end on a photography session he secretly booked.

What was the overall theme and/or concept for the big day?

The overall concept for the theme was black excellence. We wanted it to be classic with clean and elegant touches throughout.

What was your favorite moment?

I really enjoyed the reception (set up, design, view). It was a chance for the people we care about to have a great time and celebrate.

Amani loved the food and the décor (tables, linens, plates) especially the cocktail hour set up.

Any advice you would share with other couples?

It’s important to understand that a wedding is just one day and marriage is a lifetime. If you don’t have the foundation for the rest of your life, the day won’t mean much.
